Which means the skies over Gloucestershire will be full of “Heavy Metal”.
July sees the return of the annual Royal International Air Tattoo. The biggest airshow in the UK and, probably, Europe.
I’ll be making my annual pilgrimage to Fairford, taking in four full days of aviation action.
Last year was a decent show, but it didn’t match the previous years or shows from the 90’s – With all the cutbacks in spending it’s not surprising that the line up was sparse in comparison with the halcyon days of the 1990’s
Hopefully this year will see a better line up, especially as it’s the Red Arrow’s 50th anniversary, they say they have something special for us!
Can’t wait! Especially if the weather is as good this year as it was last!
